Format of the Drive
The Times Women's Drive (henceforth called the 'drive' or the 'event') will run in a Time/Speed/Distance (TSD) format on a non-cumulative basis, and will run in compliance with the: General Prescriptions for TSD rallies of The Federation of Motor Sports Clubs of India (FMSCI), the Autorités Sportives Nationales (ASN) of Federation Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA) in India, the International Sporting Code of the FIA, and the Times Women's Drive Supplementary Regulations, 2018. Modifications, amendments and/or changes to the Supplementary Regulations during the event will be announced only by numbered and dated Stewards Decision Bulletins by the Stewards of the Meeting appointed for each event.
The event runs on non-cumulative basis. The Maximum Permitted Lateness, however, will be specified for each Rally Day or for an event overall on a cumulative basis from the start of the rally to the finish.
Terms and Conditions
Every person or group of persons, organizing the drive and/or event or taking part therein shall be deemed to be acquainted with the International Sporting Code of the FIA, the general prescriptions for TSD rallies of the FMSCI and the TWD 2018 supplementary regulations.
All participants must sign the indemnity and declaration form, which are enclosed with the Entry Form.
These are the conditions precedent to the submission of entries and while taking part in the drive and/or event, and all participants shall be bound by them and also the rules and regulations set hereinafter or amendments made thereto.
All participants shall undertake to submit themselves without reserve to the above and to the decisions and the consequences resulting from them.
Times Women’s Drive, a Bennett, Coleman & Co. Ltd. initiative, holds the right to disqualify a team at any point during the event if the registered party is not adhering to the terms and conditions of the event or tampering with the motto or spirit of the rally in any way.
Times Women’s Drive, a Bennett, Coleman & Co. Ltd. initiative, has the right to withhold the number of votes. No party, whatsoever, will have the right to seek the number of votes at any given point.
Times Women’s Drive, a Bennett, Coleman & Co. Ltd. initiative, holds the right to disqualify any team for misconducting during the rally or the stay.
Refund Policy: No refunds will be allowed post the payment of rally fees.
Rights and Obligations of the Organiser
The organizer may issue any Competitor Information Bulletins (CIBs) and/or written instructions to competitors at any time. Written instructions when issued shall be signed by each competitor/entrant as proof of receipt and shall have the same legal force as the supplementary regulations. All CIBs will be communicated via dated and sequentially numbered bulletins. These bulletins shall have the force and will constitute an integral part of the regulations and will be posted on the official notice board. As far as possible, the CIBs shall be brought to the notice of the individual competitors. However, it is the responsibility of the competitor and/or entrant to acquaint themselves with the CIBs and/or written instructions posted on the official notice board/s. The provisions of the present regulations may only be amended according to Art.67 of the FMSCI Sporting Code. The Stewards of the Meeting have the authority to amend the prescriptions of the present regulations according to the circumstances and cases which arise. Competitors will be informed of any amendments as soon as possible. Any amendments/additional provisions will be announced by date and sequentially numbered Stewards Decision Bulletins which are an integral part of these regulations. These bulletins will be posted on the official notice boards and will also be directly communicated to the competitors. The organizers and/or the Clerk of the Course may appoint Judges of Fact, who have to be named either in the Supplementary Regulations or in a CIB along with a specific duty of what is to be judged.
Amendments to the Regulations
Amendments to these regulations may only be made as per Sporting Code and the general prescriptions of FMSCI. The participants will be informed of any amendments as soon as possible. Any amendments/additional provisions will be announced via dated & sequentially numbered Organiser CIB's or Stewards Decision Bulletins – which form an integral part of the Supplementary Regulations; printed on Yellow Paper. These decisions will be posted on the official notice boards and shall also be communicated to the participants.
The Stewards of the Meeting are empowered to take a decision on any case not covered by the present regulations.
The Organizers may, at their discretion, abandon, cancel or postpone the drive and/or event, in case of unforeseen circumstances.
The Clerk of the Course may delete and/or change any part of the route should it be deemed necessary due to FORCE MAJEURE or for any other safety reason.
The Organizers reserve the right to refuse the entry of any participant at their discretion without assigning any reason for such refusal.
